Fungus diseases can be common in our area. The key here is knowledge. Fungus diseases are actually quite fragile as they need specific criteria to grow. 

• What is the pathogen? 
• What is the host plant? 
• Are the weather conditions spot on for the disease to grow? 

Remove one part of this equation and the disease will fail.

Cultural practices such as mowing, watering, and aerating will help defeat diseases. If necessary, we can properly use fungicides to control diseases. If chemical controls are not necessary it is better for our environment and less expensive.
